But the reviews were so good, I took the chance. I am glad I did! I have tried several mattresses before this, much more expensive ones, but not found anything as comfortable.
The pillow top is *very* soft so if you are looking for a firm mattress, this is not for you. But if you do like soft mattresses then this one is sure to please you!
Also, there was a strong smell when I first opened it like a lot of reviewers mentioned. But I could sleep in it after 24hrs. I kept the windows open and the mattress close to it. There is absolutely no smell now.
The packing was awesome, the box came with wheels, so if you are going to do this all by yourself, its going to quite easy :)

It's a real mattress, not a flimsy fold up deal. I was a worried about ordering it without being able to test it, but now I'm glad I did. Give it a try. You'll sleep better for it.

We wanted something affordable, comfortable, and that would last a long time. I had reservations about purchasing a mattress online, but after going to a couple of local stores and realizing that my wallet was about to be relieved of a lot of its weight, I decided to start looking to Amazon.
I read a couple of the reviews, and you'll notice that most mention how cool it is to unpack this mattress. This is an understatement, the entire thing comes in a box that's ridiculously small for the actual size of this package. It is compressed, vacuum sealed, and rolled up. What's even cooler is that the box it comes in has wheels and has a handle. We literaly pulled this up to a third story in less than 5 minutes, you pull it out of the box, unroll it, cut the plastic, and WHOOSH you have a full mattress in front of you!
